A call to triple global renewable energy capacity by 2030

The “Conference of the Parties” or more commonly known as COP28 is the 28th annual United Nations Climate Summit where governments will discuss how to limit and prepare for future climate change. This year it will be held in Dubai, U.A.E, from 30 November - 12 December 2023.

High-level discussions and goals of COP28 will focus on:

• Keeping alive the goal of limiting long-term global temperature rises to 1.5C
• Fast-tracking the move to clean energy sources and to "slash" greenhouse gas emissions before 2030
