Gestión integrada de los recursos hídricos en Latinoamérica / Integrated Water Resources Management in Latin America

The IWRA Latin America and Caribbean Chapter, in collaboration with the Argentine Institute of Water Resources, is excited to announce a new series of virtual seminars titled “Water Policies in Latin America.” This series of five interactive sessions will feature prominent experts from across the region sharing valuable insights into the history, current practices, and future challenges of integrated water resource management.

The key objectives of this series include:

• Analysing the global evolution of water policies
• Exploring policy developments in Latin America, highlighting regional differences and similarities
• Deepening understanding of management practices at the basin level
• Connecting with national and international organisations involved in water management
• Evaluating regulatory progress and challenges, particularly in water and sanitation services
• Gathering insights to propose a cooperative roadmap for policy improvements in the region
